Went for the first time 6/29/19. I had always heard of this place but I had never actually been. The rumors and reputation of Waffle House (before I went) was that it was the go to place after a night out of drunken debauchery. I can say it isn't just that.
You walk in and there's a lady welcoming you in. If it's busy, you have to wait in a chair for somewhere to sit. If it isn't, you can sit in a booth, at the bar, or at a couple tables in the back corner. The restaurant doesn't hold many people.
I ordered a chocolate chip waffle & a bacon biscuit. The kitchen is wide open and you can see everything they do. My boyfriend ordered one of their specials. His eggs were cooked the way he likes perfectly.
I've always been partial to Cracker Barrel and iHOP. But I will say we will be back to Waffle House. -

We returned for a visit the other night and almost never did get our (lazy, phone-obsessed) waitress to even refill our coffee cups, let alone get us our food on time.
We're gravely disappointed, as our first experience here had been a good one. -

My first time but not my last. Great food. The pecan waffles were AHHHHHHHMAZING. The hash browns cooked with onions were so good! I like gravy with my hash browns. So good! The scrambled eggs with cheese were awesome and creamy like I like them!

The building is very clean and nice, both inside and out! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, and the food is amazing. Of course I had to get a waffle, complete with both chocolate and peanut butter chips. Was a fantastic Sunday morning meal!

Hit the spot. Eggs, sausage, waffle. If you go wrong with these items, then there's something wrong with you. Enjoyed the food and felt pretty comfy while I increased my pant size. All in all, Waffle House makes for a good day.
